Due to a bug, you can only download files with the default name download. You will need to rename your exported file to distance-tracker-data-export.txt to successfully import it.

About Distance Goals

Distance Goals is designed to help you track progress toward goals for virtual or real-world distance challenges. Some challenge hosts have no way to sync with fitness tracking apps, or their own usable tracking system.

Don’t waste time fiddling with spreadsheets or doing math by hand in a notebook; Distance Goals does it all for you.

How is my data stored?

All your data is stored on your own device; it never gets uploaded to the internet. You don’t need a login, and your data is kept private and secure.

Please note that if you change browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) or move to a different device, you won’t be able to access your data. This is why we have an Import/Export feature allowing you to transfer your data between devices easily with a few clicks.
